What started as a small, one-man operation in 2018 has grown into a team serving couples across both Malaysia and Singapore — and along the way, we’ve learned that no two weddings, or two cities, are ever quite the same.
Every culture has its own rhythm
From the energetic baraat of a Punjabi wedding, to the quiet reverence of a Malay akad nikah, to the ritual-rich ceremonies of a Hindu wedding, each tradition has its own pacing. Part of our job is learning that rhythm in advance, so we know when to lean in and when to hold back.
Venues shape the story
A beachside pre-wedding shoot in Malaysia calls for a completely different lighting and lens approach than an indoor ballroom reception in Singapore. Scouting locations ahead of time — even virtually — has become a non-negotiable part of our planning process.
Cross-border logistics matter
Travelling between Malaysia and Singapore for destination weddings means planning gear, timing and backup equipment more carefully than a local shoot. We’ve built our workflow specifically to handle this smoothly, so couples never have to think about the logistics on their side.
Growth means more hands, same heart
Today, Studio 7 Production is supported by a growing team of photographers, cinematographers and editors — but our founder Ishwin and business partner Samreeta still make sure every couple gets the same personal, cared-for experience that started this studio back in 2018.
Whether we’re covering an intimate ROM in Kuala Lumpur or a large multi-day wedding in Singapore, our goal stays the same: to tell your story the way it deserves to be told.
