Anyone can post their best ten photos on Instagram. Ask to see a full wedding gallery or a complete film from start to finish. This tells you how consistent the work is across an entire day, not just the perfect moments.
Meet them before you book them
Photography and videography are intimate work — your photographer will be close to you during some of your most emotional moments. A short call or coffee meeting tells you a lot about whether you’ll feel comfortable with them around on the day.
Ask about their approach, not just their gear
Cameras and drones matter less than how a team works. Do they blend into the background and capture candid moments, or do they direct and pose everything? Neither is wrong, but you should know which style you’re getting.
Understand what’s included
Editing timelines, number of edited photos, raw footage access, and delivery formats can vary a lot between studios. Get this in writing before you sign anything.
